This page is a moving
target. From time to time I
add
resources and delete those that seem less relevant to my market.
Here's what I currently use and recommend.
Full diclosure: I do get a commission when you click through most of
these links to make a purchase. You can bypass my links and go directly
to these sites. Your investment will be the same either way.
But you don't have to invest a dime if you're getting started.
Subscribe to a handful of ezines, poke around the websites, and get to
know what's out there.
For
a step-by-step
guide to getting started, check out Derek Gehl's Internet Marketing
Tips course: Getting Started on the Internet. I attended one 2-day
seminar and totally
changed the way I think about my business. It's one of the
best values, when you consider what you get.
20
Ways to Make $100 A Day Online. Very realistic. I've met folks who
built 6-figure incomes from these ideas.
Kathleen Gage's
Street Smarts Marketing helped me make money on the Internet more
than any other resource.
Connie Ragen Green
offers a powerful home study course to develop a profitable Internet
busines and sell your ebook for passive revenue. She includes 6
weeks of follow-up email support.

The Overcome
Everything people
have created some videos to walk you through the process of getting a
domain name and website. Cool list-building tips. They follow up a lot
but you can ignore them.
Robert Middleton's Action Plan
workbook walks you through the steps of earning money as an Independent
Professional. The Web Tools Kit offers a strategy for putting together
a
straightforward service professional's website. If you're considering
do-it-yourself web writing, you need this product (and it's very
reasonable). He's got a get-acquainted freebie:
If you're serious about making money online,
just about everybody on the Internet uses 1ShoppingCart. It's branded
under different names but I recommend this one because you get free
training. And if you buy through my link, I'll be happy to give you
some email support to get started. The Shopping
Cart Queen is my choice.
My
favorite Report for the nitty-gritty of selling products and services
on the Internet. Desperate
Buyers
Only.
James Roche has
a special gift to "coach the product out of you." I took his class and
earned back the investment with one teleseminar. Start with his ezines.
He's smart, generous and totally ethical.
Perry
Marshall has written a very helpful e-course called "5 days to
success with Google AdWords." No charge to subscribe.
Would you believe
some people make more money from a 300-word article than a 300-page
book? I didn't either till I listened to Jeff Herring.
Just about everyone on the
Internet has gone through Tom Antion's infamous
"butt camps."

Reading
Maria Veloso, Web Copy That Sells. I'm not sure you can use
this book to become a copywriter, but you'll get lots of ideas and a
new appreciation for copywriters. Helpful ideas if you've already taken
a course. Just be aware that everything eventually goes out of date
(sooner rather than later) on the Internet.
Michael Gerber, The E-myth Revisited. Ask almost any business
consultant or coach to recommend a book and you're likely to end up
with this one -- for good reason. Most business owners want to do what
they love: garden, write, coach or make great apple pie. But business
success depends on creating systems that deliver. Tough but true.
